92-YEAR-OLD WOMAN BEATS COVID-19, WALKS OUT OF SUM COVID HOSPITAL

Once again, a 92-year-old woman affected by Covid-19 has emerged victorious in the battle against the dreaded infection at the SUM Covid Hospital.

            Ms. Sarojini Patnaik, a resident of Baramunda area of the city who was down with fever and cough for a few days, had tested positive for Coronavirus. Anxious family members got her admitted into the SUM Covid Hospital immediately.

            What caused anxiety was the fact that she was diabetic, but the medical team started her treatment leaving no stone unturned to ensure her recovery.

            Family members of the nonagenarian were overjoyed when she was discharged from the hospital on Monday. “The excellent treatment provided by the medical team ensured her recovery,” Mr. Siddharth Patnaik, grandson of the patient, said.
