{"id":1445,"date":"2021-09-11T11:28:19","date_gmt":"2021-09-11T11:28:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/utkalaage.in\/?p=1445"},"modified":"2021-09-11T11:28:20","modified_gmt":"2021-09-11T11:28:20","slug":"nirf-ranking-soa-retains-top-university-position-in-odisha","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/utkalaage.in\/?p=1445","title":{"rendered":"NIRF RANKING: SOA RETAINS TOP UNIVERSITY POSITION IN ODISHA"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Siksha \u2018O\u2019 Anusandhan (SOA) maintained its position as the 20<sup>th<\/sup> best in the country and highest ranked\u00a0 in Odisha in the university category as the rankings in different categories of the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) for 2021 were released on Thursday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; SOA,\nwhich was granted Deemed to be University status in 2007, was placed in the 20<sup>th<\/sup>\nposition in the NIRF 2020 rankings as well and now has been ranked among the\ntop 25 universities in the country for the sixth consecutive occasion since the\nNIRF rankings were introduced by the Ministry of Education in 2016.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-gallery columns-1 is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\"><li class=\"blocks-gallery-item\"><figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"408\" src=\"http:\/\/utkalaage.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/soa-building.jpg\" alt=\"\" data-id=\"1447\" data-link=\"http:\/\/utkalaage.in\/?attachment_id=1447\" class=\"wp-image-1447\" srcset=\"https:\/\/utkalaage.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/soa-building.jpg 800w, https:\/\/utkalaage.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/soa-building-300x153.jpg 300w, https:\/\/utkalaage.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/soa-building-768x392.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/figure><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The\nrankings were released in a virtual program in New Delhi by the Union minister\nfor Education Mr. Dharmendra Pradhan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Registering\nimprovement, SOA moved to 37<sup>th <\/sup>rank in the country from 38<sup>th<\/sup>\nlast year in the overall category while in engineering and technology category\nit was placed 32<sup>nd<\/sup> this year moving up two spots from 34<sup>th<\/sup>\nin 2020. In the category for medical colleges, SOA had moved to 21<sup>st<\/sup>\nthis year (23<sup>rd<\/sup> last year) improving two places. In dental category,\nSOA was placed 14<sup>th<\/sup> in the country this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; SOA\ncontinues to be the top institution in Odisha in the overall category as also\nin medical and dental categories.
