On the first day of the programme, competitions were held among\nhundreds of students from different schools in drawing, jhoti and debate.\nBefore the start of the programme, the guests paid floral tributes to Samanta’s\nstatue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the second day, Padma Sri Aditya Prasad Das, a prominent\nscientist and vice-chancellor of Asian Institute of Public Health, attended\nSamanta’s birth anniversary as the chief guest, while Satyanarayan Acharya,\nProfessor of Literature at National Sanskrit University, Tirupati, was present\nas the chief speaker.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/figure><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\nProfessor Jyoti Ranjan Das, Dean of Students Welfare at Sikshya\nO Anusandhan University, former Deputy Speaker and Minister Bibhuti Bhushan\nSingh Mardaraj, and Pandit Manoj Das, block vice-chairman Sisir Kumar sahu were\npresent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Advocate and secretary of the organization Bikram Keshari Deo\nintroduced the guests. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
On the second day, a\nhealth camp was organized. Besides, cultural programmes were organized on the\noccasion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the programme, a music session was held in memory of\nKishor Rath, popularly known as Kataksha Kishor, artist Suresh Mahapatra,\nGiridhari Barik and Vikari Muhammad, known as second Salabega.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/figure><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\nOn the second day of the event, Odissi dance performance by\ninternationally renowned Odissi dance guru Puspitha Mishra and Kalingayan\nTouryatrikam, Bhubaneswar was held. Besides, Odissi dancer Barbara from France\narrived at Samanta Jayanthi making the event even more beautiful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
