{"id":816,"date":"2020-06-10T11:40:37","date_gmt":"2020-06-10T11:40:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/utkalaage.in\/?p=816"},"modified":"2020-06-10T11:40:40","modified_gmt":"2020-06-10T11:40:40","slug":"five-disciplines-of-sum-hospital-ranked-no-1-in-survey","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/utkalaage.in\/?p=816","title":{"rendered":"FIVE DISCIPLINES OF SUM HOSPITAL RANKED NO. 1 IN SURVEY"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Five disciplines of the Institute of\nMedical Sciences and SUM Hospital, the faculty of medicine of the SOA Deemed to\nbe University here, have been ranked the number one such facilities provided by\nprivate\/corporate hospitals in the multi-specialty category locally while three\nof its departments were placed among the top 20 in the country in the annual\nTimes Health Survey published on Wednesday. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As per the findings of the survey,\nconducted for nine disciplines at the national, regional and local level, the\ndepartments of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Urology, Neuro Sciences, Obstetrics\nand Gynecology and Emergency and Trauma Care, were ranked number one in the\ncity, the positions they held in the survey last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The departments of Pediatrics,\nOncology and Cardio Sciences were placed second while the department of\nNephrology was positioned third in the ranking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As per the survey, the hospital\u2019s\ndepartments of Pediatrics, Urology and Neuro Sciences were ranked 13<sup>th<\/sup>,\n17<sup>th<\/sup> and 20<sup>th<\/sup> respectively at the national level. \n\n&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; IMS\nand SUM Hospital\u2019s department of Urology was ranked 2<sup>nd<\/sup> in the\neastern region while the departments of Pediatrics, Neuro Sciences and\nEmergency and Trauma Care were ranked 3<sup>rd<\/sup> at the regional level.
