Statue of former khandapada king.. former minister and mla of khandapada late harihar singh mardaraj unveiled at the premises of khandapada palace. In a special function his son former minister, deputy speaker and mla and present king of khandapada sri bibhuti bhusan singh. mardaraj, his grandson former mla ans yuvraj of khandapada were also present and performed puja.

The people of khandapada gave tribute to their former king in the palace.
Late harihar singh was four time mla of khandapada from 1951 to 1971. He was also 2 times cabinet minister from 1961 to 1964 during late biju patnaik and biren mitra’s government.

He was also a pilot and a good friend of former chief minister and( also a pilot) biju patnaik.

He was a great admirer of music… and started the dhumpa music culture in khandapada.
