Ex Mla siddharth singh nominated gacha sir for Padmashee Award

It is a great pleasure and happiness for the khandapada people of Nayagarh district that the respected senior citizen of the soil Sri Antaryami sahu popularly known as Gacha Sir has been nominated for the prestigious Padma Shree award.

Former Mla of Khandapada Siddharth sekhar singh has tweeted and requested Prime Minister Narendra Modi to consider the name of Shri Antaryami Sahoo of krushneswar patana of Kantilo panchayat of khandapada block for this year’s presigious Padmashri Award.
Gachcha Sir has planted more than 30,000 trees n dedicated his life for protection of environment and wildlife conservation.

Nominating Gacha Sirr for ‘Padma Shri’ award, ex mla Mr Singh also acknowledged his dedication towards preserving green cover in the region.
Besides Mr Singh Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan also praises him in their respective tweets.

Mr sahu started his career as a primary school teacher. During his service period, he dedicated his time after school hours to plant saplings and create awareness about the importance of trees among the people.
His motto is to preserve greenery.
